Islam is growing around the world and also here in the United States. Christians ought to familiarize themselves with the teachings of Islam in order to be more effective in sharing the good news of the gospel with this growing segment of society. The gospel of Jesus is the power of God for salvation, as many former Muslims can testify. Just as the Lord has been pleased to convert many Muslims to a humble faith in Jesus Christ, we can hope and trust that we will continue to do so as we give ourselves prayerfully and purposefully to the task of engaging them with the truth of God’s Word.
In my personal experience, it is helpful for Christians to brush up on their understanding of the doctrine of Christ, the Trinity, and the formation of the biblical canon in order to do Muslim apologetics well. In addition, it will be worth your while to familiarize yourself with the teachings of Islam itself so you can see where they have gone astray.

Here is one that is showing some of the fallacies and inconsistencies of Islam and the Quran.
“Walk with wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned as it were with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” (Col. 4:5-6)
And may God grant his word success!
